Product Description Lindapter is the world's leading innovator in steelwork clamping systems. Their unique clamping systems eliminate the requirement to drill or weld steel. When compared to traditional steel clamping / connection methods, Lindapter provides faster installation, significantly reduced costs and preserves the integrity of the steelwork. Lindapter clamping systems are suitable for a variety of steel work ranging from steel beams to steel hollow sections. The 'Countersunk Head' version of the Hollo-Bolt is a suitable cavity fixing for hollow sections or conventional steelwork where access is available from one side only. It also ensures that the fixing protrusion from the steelwork is kept to a minimum whilst still using a plain drilled hole in the supporting section and the outer plate / bracket.
Features
Lindapter expansion bolts require access to only one side of the Structural Hollow Section (SHS), and offer a faster alternative to welding or through-bolting, enabling contractors to reduce construction time and labour costs. The Hollo-Bolt is independently approved for primary structural connections. Installation is quickly carried out by inserting into pre-drilled steelwork and tightening with a torque wrench. Independent approvals include CE Mark, DIBt, TÜV and ICC-ES seismic accreditation. For square, rectangular and circular hollow sections. Fast, cost saving installation from one side. High resistance to shear and tension. Patented High Clamping Force design. A range of head types for architectural finishes. Sizes M16 and M20, known as the Hollo-Bolt (HCF), feature a High Clamping Force mechanism to produce three times more clamping force than the same sized product without the mechanism.
